Afternoon Food & Drinks

OVERLOOKING THE RIVER

Riverfront Food and Drinks

After a hard day enjoying themselves, our guests often choose to relax in the Pavilion or on the Almond Terrace.

Because both are the perfect riverfront food and drinks setting, we offer:

Afternoon Teas – 4.00-5.00pm.

WineDowner –  4.00pm, last orders 6.00pm

For guests not wishing to dine out, platters and small plates are available at the WineDowner.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does The Woodbridge have a restaurant?

Woodbridge has a dining room and bar in the Pavilion. It is not an open to the public restaurant. It is for our in-house guests only, with riverfront food and beverages offerings that best suit the daily schedules of most of our guests.

  • What is the WineDowner?

The WineDowner is our version of drinks at Sundown… and it is the perfect wind down! The Bar in the Pavilion is open at this time with service in The Pavilion and on the Almond Terrace.

  • Is food available at the WineDowner?

Yes, we offer a platters and small plates menu at the WineDowner. The menu includes moorish nibbles for when you are peckish, or more substantial plates for guests who are not planning on going out to dine.

  • Does Woodbridge offer a full service dinner service?

In recent years fewer guests have been requiring a full dinner service. So we have moved with the times. Our informal platters seem to work for most guests. Please do discuss your requirements with us.

  • What is served at Afternoon Tea?

Tea or coffee is served, and you may choose to select from the Poet’s Corner tea menu.  There is also a daily sweet treat selection available from the small plates menu.

  • Where is Afternoon Tea served?

Afternoon Tea is served on the Almond Terrace or in The Pavilion – the choice is yours
